Student Health
Students at your school may be at risk for lupus!
Did you know that:
- Over 90% of people diagnosed with lupus are women between the ages of 15 and 45?
- Lupus is 2 to 3 times more common in women of color (African Americans, Hispanic Americans/Latinas, Asian Americans, and Native Americans) than in women of European descent?
Help us manage lupus by spreading the word to these at-risk populations—they need to know the signs so they can take action. Download the posters below to begin your school’s awareness and education campaign. (Of course, be sure to get administrative approval before posting them!) The sooner lupus is diagnosed, the sooner it can be managed.
